Just for your info, The tube used has a smaller dia than the original. The FCG and bolt have been heavily modified. So, he didn't just use a parts kit and slap it together. These take a lot of work to change from open bolt to close bolt.

This looks like a copy of the CATCO STENs from the late '90's.
The tube is the original 1.375 ID and the charging handle is at the
same angle as the original and it uses an original bolt. I'll bet that there
is a piece of 3/16" square key stock welded on the inside of the tube at
9:00 and a slot cut on the 9:00 position of the bolt. {you can tell that it is an
original bolt by how the extractor sits in the bolt}
CATCO made only 300 STENs. They pop up on G/B from time to time.
Consider this ...
Can an AR be fired with the stock and piston tube removed ?
..but not safely. You fire that STEN with the stock off and the innards
will most likely kill 'ya cuz everything is coming out the back of the
tube.
Please let me know how I did on my analysis.
