Where do you get that from? That's not found in Penal Code 30710.

Notwithstanding paragraph (11) of subdivision (a) of Section 30510, an "SKS rifle" under this article means all SKS rifles commonly referred to as "SKS Sporter" versions, manufactured to accept a detachable AK-47 magazine and imported into this state and sold by a licensed gun dealer, or otherwise lawfully possessed in this state by a resident of this state who is not a licensed gun dealer, between January 1, 1992, and December 19, 1997.

Those are all the SKS manufactured to use AK magazines that were imported into the USA.
And it comes from a CA DOJ agent; they consider those to be make/model banned and treat them as such.
Which is why the CA DOJ "SKS Sporter" buy back program only effected those make/models.

Some of those fixed 10 round mags can hold 11 rounds, that's a bonus you don't want.

^ not CA legal with a 20rd mag.
I know ur not from CA Bob but your input here would probably better served if you took some time to learn the laws of out state. I know they are asinine and confusing but better this way than you constantly recommending felonious activities

Oreska band. Japanese school girls playing ska. Had the pleasure to work with them a couple times. Lotta fun.
