    Big 5 carrying SKS

stopped by Solana Beach Big 5 on the way back from work. A guy stopped in getting an exchange on gun case and asked for some 7.62x39. I asked if he had a mini-30 or an SKS (based on the slim case he had). He said he had a nice SKS in the car and asked the guy behind the counter if he wanted to see it. The big 5 worker mentions they just got in an SKS for the first time. I was surprised and asked if I could see it. Yugo SKS with muzzle brake, grenade launcher sights and unfinished stock. Personally, I like the look of an unfinished stock.

    Price is $399.00
a bit much for a Yugo IMO, but maybe they will go on sale. (not holding my breath for a while)

I'm just glad to see that they're starting to finally test the water and carry SKS after *****footing around for so long and spreading FUD about semi autos.

Wow! An "evil" gun at Big5?

I wonder if they'll start to sell cheapo Wolf and Golden Bear ammo there as well.

....I've seen those in my area. They look like they've been fished out of a septic tank. Their condition is way,way rough. I might consider on at $199.00 or $299.00. Four times that price.....aint happin'....
