    My timeline AR15 build

Waiting on my CTR and one of those new Vortex Strikefire Red Dots and my build will be complete.

Waiting for the stripped lower to finish DROS.

All together with a Cproducts 10 round magazine and a Prince50 Button lock.

And how it sits today waiting for the CTR and Strikefire. Added a FDE 10/30 Pmag from CWS.

Got the CTR in today. Just waiting on Strikefire and the MOE handguards.

Nice build, my dog is especially fond of the desert tan Nylabone!

Yeah the CTR I got is FDE as well so that part is covered. I do not plan on mounting much crap on my rifle, so I do not think anything more than the little mounting rail I have already will be needed. The problem is finding handguards that match the Magpul FDE color without spending 300 dollars. Any hints?

            Thanks for the compliments all.

Is there a Duracoat color that would match the FDE color? That might work.

There is, but duracoating a 20 dollar handguard is kind of weird to me.
In the future though I am going to probably get something done up by Drawn.

The only tan ones I have found are of a much lighter hue. I saw some pictures floating around here of a someone that bought a set for his wife, and you could definitely tell that the Magpul FDE is much darker and richer (for lack of better term) than the handguards. I am still searching for a set that match.

Anyone know when the MOE Handguards are coming out? I know the stock and grips are out.
