Correct. I just just removed the rear spur of the hammer to make a "speed hammer."

Again the set up has been 100 percent flawless for me since bobbing the hammer, but if this were a "work gun" or something serious I am not sure I would go this route and would just stick to plain ol milspec

JP Yellows fire my wolf/tula small and large primers. They will not fire 5.45 milsurp.

I run an SSA in my Noveske upper, no light strikes. No modified parts. I was taught use a standard weight buffer spring & play with buffer weights. Easy to get carried away & overthink things. Time & money are precious, not wasting it tweekin on my guns while I wanna shoot.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I had a problem with them while I was running a 7.62x39 upper and a SSA-E trigger. Put the original Geissele hammer spring back on a it fixed the problem.

The JP tactical 4.5 lb hammer spring is a regular M4 hammer spring with the catch slightly bent back for a little less tension. I found it marginally different from a stock M4 hammer spring. That kit comes with a yellow trigger spring like the 3.5 lb. set.

I switched to all 3.5 lb JP yellow springs and ALG QMS triggers, 4 AR's and a pistol. Each will fire anything I load.

I had the yello hammer/trigger JP springs. After reading reviews where most were getting light primer strikes, I went with the suggestion of just using the yellow trigger spring and kept the OEM hammer spring. It did lighten up the trigger pull on my rifle, not much but I felt the difference.
I just swapped the yellow hammer spring over the OEM the other night, there's a big difference in trigger pull weight, but the impact of the hammer hitting my thumb as I try it, is not as strong. Will have to see how she shoots on my next range trip. I'm bringing the old springs just in case.

I too just installed a set of jp3.5#springs. Haven't put any rounds down range yet. But it definitely does feel different. Better it seems.

I dont get putting lighter springs on geissele triggers since I thought one of the big benefits of geissele was full strength springs to ensure reliability?
