From what I read most parts will work fine, but if the bolt and barrel are the same company it is best to avoid problems. I was looking at psa but they are sold out of every barrel almost. What do you recommend on a company about the same cost as PSA?

For building? Daniel defense will be more pricey. It also depends on what you want. 16 inch 20 inch? Carbine gas mid legth gas? Jse surplus sells barrels. White oak. I donno.

Id have to say when it comes to psa barrel stock it seems most are going into their uppers which they have a hard time keeping up with orders. Del ton has some good deals sota arms too. But I think dd and fn are the best bang for your buck.

16" but 14" can work too. Mid length. Yeah I was looking for something in PSA price and quality. How big of a deal is headspace checking? I know the go no go gauges are around 70 for both. That's kinda why I was leaning towards same brand for barrel and bcg.
