Use your red tool to tighten it back up, a little blue thread lock will keep it from coming loose again. Did you ever wonder why your red tool is threaded inside?

same here, but used an extra flat head screwdriver. definitely prefer it over the dedicated "tools."

I got the same rifle.. I put a BCM upper on it. All you need is a screwdriver and tighten it down. You dont really need locktite. I also got one of BB tools. I keep it in my saw grip

Use blue locktite. Just a little bit does it. Easy to break that with the tool. I don't ever want to pull it out, it's too much trouble even if I go to AZ. Last thing I need to do is work on my guns out of state. Once you get used to it, you get used to it.

Or, if I unscrewed the nut more to let it extended out further, then it became loose that it rotated by itself whenever my finger touched it.

Thanks again for the link, because the concept of this kit was sounded. If the manufacturer could improve it by making the slotted-steel-nut a little bit longer, then it would be perfect.

Just want to share my experience.

Tell that to my old mag catch. Blue loctite=2 damaged Riflegear mag tools=Cut off mag catch.

And yes, hairdryer, heat gun, boiling water, brake cleaner, loctite remover did not loosen it up.
