    Input on a upper please

I'm looking at some of the uppers on gunbroker and came across this one which looks nice and should be pretty accurate, what's your thoughts? I've never heard of this company before.

This one looks pretty nice too, which one should I choose?

I'm just looking for a personal upper. I don't do the bearstatearmory anymore. Which one is better or are they both about equal

Would this be any better than a base dpms factory upper?

They are both custom, so it's not like we have a brand name to fall back on. We have to trust they did good work assembling them.

Assuming they know there stuff when it comes to gunsmithing then the specs on both are great. My personal tastes would lead me towards choosing the second one. But the first one will get you a little bit more velocity (which translates to greater leathality at greater distance) thanks to the additional 2 inches in barrel length over the second one.

They are definately better than a base DPMS as far as the specs goes. Both come with match grade barrels. Both have light weight competition style forends which I like. They are both sexy, those the second one has an edge in that department for me.

You just never know with custom build stuff from an unknown gunsmith but I assume they would be great.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it. I would mainly use it for target shooting around 1-300 yards (mostly 100) and hunting hogs (which MAY be once per year).

Tacticalcity nailed it. And that is the concern, who the hell built these and are they trustworthy in regard to the parts they called out for these builds? Both have an A+ rating, so buy with confidence, but definitely confirm once in hand by checking each part per their listing.
