    9mm AR magazine help

Hey fellow Calgunners I need some help. I'm planning on building a 9mm AR15 for my next build project. I already did some research and resourced/ear marked the necessary parts that I will need. The one thing I was having trouble tracking down was the magazines for the build. I'll be using the RRA Mag Block so I'm specifically looking for the 10/32 9mm CMAG or the 10/32 9mm RRA mag. I tried looking for parts kits and blocked 10/32 mags but came up empty. If someone could point me in the right direction or know of a vendor that sells the 10/32 mags I would greatly appreciate the help. Its an aesthetics thing, If I have to I'll buy the 10 round magazine.

No out of state vendor is selling anything hi cap related, to include blocked magazines, to california until the AB48 situation shakes out a little more (defining what is and is not a kit).

So if you want mags, you must get 10's. (for $45, from RRA)

Hartatac is still selling blocked mags, but they only have pmags. Your best bet might be the CGN market.

If you are using Colt 9mm system, you can use a UZI mags. You would need to cut a notch in the uzi mag where the magazine latch is. Using UZI conversion mags, you don't get last round hold back.

They sell 10/32 Uzi mags here to convert if you are desperate

The 10/10 AR mags work fine, but they get almost hidden once inserted in magazine well.

or you call Rifle Gear and ask them to block 20 rounder

        For extra cost of course.

Modifying a blocked uzi mag could be difficult if the base plate is permanently attached. Metal shavings/pieces fall inside and can't clean it out. Worse yet, maybe cut spring and or follower during mod

find a shop in Nevada that has the mags you want in stock. Order mag blocks. Once you get the blocks, road trip to Nevada. Just another excuse to gamble.

Shop magazines (720) at Brownells, including rifle, handgun, and shotgun magazines, as well as magazine accessories for reliable feeding and performance.

Not cheap, but here are the new 10 round metalforms. I run them, they work great, BHO,

Is it legal to buy your own mag blocks, find an owner of Uzi mags, gift the blocks to them, then buy the mags after they put the blocks in?

I bought two ASC 9mm mags and neither one will feed using my Hahn bottom-loading block.

But they're so short that handling sucks anyway. I only use them as "non-detachable mag filler" when transporting the gun. Then I use 10/20 colt mags.
