The difference is minimal but if you wanted to run a light, the 15 would have less barrel shadow.

One has a chf barrel and is cheaper, also an ultra lite weight profile. The other is more expensive. Which do you like the looks of more?

Go with the heavier barrel, they changed the barrel to a heavier one on the A2 for a reason. Maybe barrel quality is better though. Both are chrome lined, I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

The first one, for the reasons they listed.

Personally I like the chf fn barrels but in this case I don't dig the ultra thin profile. You do not need the chf so I would get the one with the a2 profile. I have the 20 inch a2 profile with the same 15 inch rail I love it. Only thing I dont like is if you run an afg or vertical grip its gotts be way out there on the end. But with the 13.5 inch rail that should be a perfect position. I just ordered the m4 profile upped with the midwest industries ss12g2 in 16 inch to run on the same lower for the range and run n gun. The 20 inch is scoped and more of an spr type

The first one, hard to beat the looks of a 16 inch barrel/15 inch rail.

I really like them both. I was leaning towards the A2 profile then the CHF barrel went on sale. I wondered if the chf barrel is worth going with the lighter profile. I have allways believed lower weight is allways better but maybe not for this build.

The heavier barrel will be more accurate do to less barrel whip. I'm not a fan of light weight barrels myself so i would go with the A2.

I would go with the first one (15"). I like the rail and I'm in the light weight kick right now.

Yea the A2 is prob what I'll get..... That CHF barrel is tempting though.

First one. I rather have a lighter barrel and the full length rail. The added bonus is that it is hammer forged and cheaper.

I would normally pick the CHF one with the 15 inch rail, but seeing as how it's a light weight profile barrel really ruins it for me personally. If your shooting slow it will be fine but if you give it some rounds without letting it cool off in between sets you will definitely notice a drop in accuracy. For me personally I would go with the A2 barrel. What do you plan to do with it? Fast shooting run and gun then definitely the heavier barrel. But if it's just target/bench shooting then I would go ahead and grab the CHF one if you plan on taking your time letting off rounds.
