Are CMMG and DPMS 308 BCG's interchangeable?

Assuming both uppers are DPMS pattern, are the DPMS and CMMG BCG's interchangeable? (This is 308, btw).

Planning to buy a spare upper and have a lead on a CMMG upper, but currently have DPMS upper. Would like to have interchangeability, and if they don't I might wait to find a DPMS upper.

    Thanks,
    T.

I know that the CMMG BCGs riflegear sells are for the LR308 and have one in my pile of LR308 build parts. So yes.

          Yes.

Just a heads up I have one for my LR308 from rifle gear. When I had my barrel nut tightened by them and I have them my BCG to make sure the gas tube lines up and the shop by noticed my bolt was super loose which I noticed as we'll (still in fired) and told me to bring one in cause that's a sign of blown or warn gas rings.

He said how they test them is by putting the BCG on the bolt face and it either doesn't slide down or does slowly. If not it fails (rifle gears) inspection. He said for some reason CMMG has a batch that has a lot of them failing but showed me 2 that passed so before you buy one make sure he rings are good to go. Luckily I didn't fire mine yet and can exchange it

We should probably talk. We have a billet AR that's weighing in at 5lb 2oz. We are focusing on the sporting market. Our web site sucks, check out our face book.
