So it looks like Desert Tech (formerly DTA of SRS and HTI fame) is releasing their own forward ejecting bull pup called the MDR that's multi caliber and changeable without tools. Personally, I'll take one. As a bonus, maybe it'll kick keltec into producing more of their RFBs. Either way, I really want one.

True, but this is also one of the few companies that has actually released caliber conversion kits for their products instead of delaying them indefinitely or cancelling them altogether a couple years after buyers had been expecting them. So they've got that going for 'em.Comment

I need to start saving up for an APC to make full use of an ultra compact bullpup rifle.Comment

Played with the prototype at SHOT this year. Looks nice. By the time we in CA get it (30" and all) it won't be much of an improvement on the Tavor, but... the cool thing is the mag release button is actually up front of the trigger group like the M4, but releases the mag back behind the trigger group. VERY impressive. (until you have to screw with it to make it CA compliant)Comment

Looks pretty, may give the Tavor a run for its money. Hope its not vaporware. Not sure of size of Desert Tech, and proposed production run number for MDR, but IMI is huge and will probably produce Tavor's and variants for years to come.
