what muzzle brake for AR pistol?

Just had a stock A2 on it now but i want to upgrade. I am thinking of the ice arms sunburst or maybe the dynacomp shorty. What do you guys like?

I love my Surefire mb556.

But on an ar pistol.. You'll probably be the loudest thing at the range.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Dynacomp.
Have you looked at the PWS FSC556? From what I've read it does a great job at being both a comp and flash suppressor.

I'd skip the Ice Sunburst device its mostly for looks not for function as it does not have the cone like the pig.

I never thought I would want something from Strike Industries but their FAT COMPS look amazing on a pistol with hand guard covering them just a bit.

Do you want something to throw the blast forward? Then a linear comp is what you want.

Honestly unlesss you want a AR pistol that makes thunder every time you shoot it, I'd just leave the A2..

Don't get me wrong; I love brakes. I have a PWS FSC556 on one of my carbines.

If it's an "oh, what the hell" type of build, then go for it. I admit, those brakes pictured above look flippin' awesome
