So I don't necessarily know a whole bunch about AR's, but I'm interested in building a 6.5 Grendel; and looking for opinions.
I'm gonna get an Alexander Arms upper, but I need opinions on the 20 inch vs the 24 inch. (http://www.shopalexanderarms.com/Upp...-Complete.html) <- 20 inch

What are your guys' thoughts? I want the ability to hit long distance, 800 yards and what not. Yet at the same time, I don't want it to be too heavy where it's a major pain to carry. Along with that upper, I plan on getting a Ross Muzzle brake, I've read good things about him. (http://home.comcast.net/~MOA_Shooter...zzleBrakes.htm)
For my lower, I'm gonna use a tactical machining 80%. (http://www.tacticalmachining.com/80-...-receiver.html)
Seem to be the best I've found, along with it being a 7000 series aluminium it should blend pretty well with the upper when I get it anodized.
Trigger kits, I don't know much about. What brands should I look at?
For the stock I'll just used an FDE Magpul PRS.
Optics are another part I'm not sure about. I've been leaning to the Leupold Mark 4 series. I'm just gonna assume that the 8.5-25x50 is what I want. I'm not sure about other optic brands, I've used Leupold before and I've never had a problem.
And then I'll figure out the other gadgets later, I'll have to look around for a decent bipod and what not. I'll probably buy a Magpul grip too, but I'm still looking around for what I want.
