I got mine for $99, from a brick and mortar, but they can be had for as little as $80 on Amazon. I went with brick and mortar because there were some QC issues in the reviews and that way if mine was wonky it was just a quick drive to the store for a swap out. I have to say it is a hell of an optic for under $100.

Out of all the Aimpoints I prefer the PRO I like the fact that you can shoot it even with the lense cap on and that fact that the batteries last for years.
When I was in the military I had the option to go with any optic I wanted Elcan, Trijicon , Aimpoint and Eotech. I chose to run a Eotech with a magnifier or PVS-14. Although I think every optic has is pluses I just shot best with the Eotech. The ACOG was not very far behind and I found myself switching off from the ACOG to the Eotech. In memory of Ricky Lee Turner, January 16th 2009 Baghdad Iraq

I loved the specter when I was in. But I also loved my acog with rmr setup.
We literally blew one up with c4 and it still worked...and held zero.
OP, you sure yours is an authentic acog? There are good knockoffs out there. But anything is possiblenI guess...hope they fix it for you.Comment
