What should I feed my Savage

Ill be picking up a Savage 10-FCPK (308) in a few days. It has a 24" barrel with 1/10 twist. Im just wondering what you guys recommend to shoot paper/steel at 100 to 200 yds. At this point Im not reloading yet so Ill be buying factory ammo.

Federal Gold Medal Match and PPU Match 168g are the only two factory rounds I have used in my Remington 700 that got decent groups.

At 100 to 200 yards, use what Randall recommends. It's cheap and that Savage can hold them inside of a tennis ball at those distances.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Use match ammo. Then you'll know it's not the ammo, lol.

I agree with the FMJ/BT, but I don't shoot wolf ammo.
I prefer Remington, Winchester, and Federal ammo. 150-168 grain depending on barrel twist.
