I think the rogue hunter line only comes in a light profile.

The Rouge hunter is a light weight profile barrel.

Their Recon barrel is the medium weight profile, I've got one and its a tack driver.

If your building a SPR I'd highly recommend a heavier profile barrel, like the Recon or even the Varmint.

I recommend this one from Noveske if you're going for the SPR build, you wont be disappointed.
Rainier Arms specializes in high-end AR15 parts and accessories—including grips, stocks, uppers, lowers, barrels, and more—from the industry's top-tier manufacturers.

The whole barrel has a smaller overall diameter than the gas block section, so slighty smaller than .75 in. I'm not sure who's medium profile barrel you are comparing it to.

Actually, to give you an idea, I had a rogue hunter upper on a complete rifle and a TA11 mounted on it weigh in at, 9.5lbs, iirc.

I have a 18" Rogue Hunter upper (which I'm, ironically enough, thinking about selling) and it's basically a stainless version of the N4 Light barrel. While not as rigid as their heavier SPR barrel, it's still a solid shooting barrel. I ran mine through a Magpul SPR class and it did fantastic.

At the end of the day, you have to ask what you want it to do. I didn't need 1/4 MOA accuracy, but I wanted a lighter gun that I could use when having to hump to a shooting position out in the desert. Mine is easily a MOA gun and it wasn't a bad weight to carry when you put an optic on there.

I would recommend the SPR profile barrel. I is a little bit heavier but also stiffer. I have an 18" Douglas SPR profile barrel on a MK 12 Mod 0 build and it is a tack driver. Sub MOA gun.

I spent the money for the PRI MK 12 Mod 0 upper. If you want to check it out sometime, let me know. I live in Fremont and I usually shoot at Richmond Rod and Gun. Shoot me a PM.
