If they can keep them in the line with Colt's prices and better quality I think they could give them a run for their money. I remember a long time ago when my Dad told me after his service that at the time FN was making most of our rifles and not Colt and that they were better quality too.

At the time Colt was the gold standard, but ridiculously over priced for what you got.

Today we have tons of options besides building your own, but a another off the shelf ready to go AR from a well known company that has been building them for a long time and hopefully a entry level price point I would want one if I didn't just get my dream rifle recently.

      Hope they do well
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

Force of habit , He was following the ditty for "make ready!" before shooting bro.
Sling shot , Brass check , tap forward assist , sweep sights , check sights , ejection port cover closed . Shows what you know . I still close my ejection port cover when I make ready ..lmao!!

Take a class with Pat Rogers and the first string of drills will be shot that way. Pat's a big proponent of closing dust covers.

Is this bad? I mean the AR has been around since the 60's. Unless ur Armalite or Colt, then you're not exactly early- No?

Also FN does a lot of other things besides just the AR- the M249, p90, SCAR.. It seems like they know what they're doing.

As a company, it would probably be more lucrative to supply the us govt with firearms than the regular population.

Its nice. But if I were to own an FN, it would immediately be followed by the letters: SCAR.

Market is totally saturated with AR15s.

Sales won't be great unless they offer something truly unique.

That's what I have been wondering also. I sure hope not. They are the only uppers priced for my slim and usually empty wallet where i can get the features I want and be high quality at the same time.. Hopefully they don't go up in price or have to switch barrel manufacturer to keep prices the same.

Not true. DTI, DPMS, and of course PTAC are all good budget branss and cost about the same.

Couldn't you buy this from PSA for years without the FN name and price?
