Anyone on a Windham Arms AR?

How did the barrel nut come loose? Doesn't the gas tube keep that from happening?

It did hold it in place but the handgaurd moved side to side in a very noticeable way. The shooter did not notice it until I said something. It was not obvious.

Great rifle, but the barrel nut came loose? OK, that happens all the time to HIGH QUALITY rifles. When did it come loose, after MANY THOUSANDS of rounds or closer to many hundreds of rounds? Just curious.

I am not exactly sure but am guessing no more than 4000 rounds through the rifle.
