    Angie and her "Sp(AR)kle-15" SBR

    SBR = Shiny Black Rifle!

    This is Simon[*], the Sp(AR)kle-15.

    100$ worth of Swarovski crystals, carefully hand-epoxied into place. 6-Gross for the handguards alone. Rifle is a CMMG lower, topped with a CMMG gov. profile medium length flattop upper w/ARMS #40L and Stag CAR stock. Thanks to Riflegear, J&J Armory, and Bohemian Crystal for supplying all the goods.

    Angie will be bringing Simon to the SoCal lunch meet and shoot this weekend so you all can admire the insane shininess during the day. Those crystals are WAAAY brighter looking in the daylight.

    * = As in, "Simon says get down on the floor with your hands on your head!!"

      Good job. You might have something there.... You should think of starting a business.

                Thank you!

                Actually the crystals are far more purple in real light, whereas my hair is more of a deep Bordeaux

                  As stated in original post, SBR = Shiny Black Rifle! I know it was hard to miss, my pictures are pretty distracting. I mean my gun, whoops!

                    Very nice, but does it add much to the weight of the rifle?

                      Angie says about a quarter pound probably.

                        So it's about a 1/4 pound of cheez?

                        I think it's cool, but you should definitely duracoat some of the other parts to match/contrast/enhance...

                          Great looking rifle (and the operator's pretty hot, too)! That should draw some attention at the range!

                          I made an art bike for Burning Man once that required a lot of hand gluing of small bits, and can really respect the work that goes into something like this. Art guns would have been another good thing to do, back when they were more gun oriented.

                            I like this trend of 'decorator firearms' because I think it opens up the world of gun ownership and shooting to more people.

                            Oh, and that's a pretty girl with a cool rifle.
                            People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.
