Does it look like this? If so, then you most likely have rifle/standard cut feedramps on the barrel extension instead of M4 cut extension.

Yea mine on my BCM 16" mid are flush as if they were drilled the same time. I doubt it's a huge concern but usually BCM is clean with their QC/FitComment
