    This.

After spending thousands of dollars on the latest this, that, and the other thing, my fav Ar is a simple KISS with a Moe handguard and an Aimpoint Micro.

Maybe I should stop hating and wear black plastic rimmed glasses, walk around with a messenger bag with one art supply in it, wear chucks or old vans, jeans that are way, way, way too tight and act mopey?

and incidentally, shoot a rifle at the range that, to the untrained eye, looks like it may have been brought back from Vietnam?

Most people can't shoot good enough to see the benefit of FF IMHO, nor shoot far enough to justify it.

At this point I only have it because i looks cool.

I like how it has a longer sight radius for the iron sights, but then again it's kind of moot from a BUIS perspective

You could always do a dissipator type set up (pined FSB as the rifle length position) with a free floated hand guard behind it. Would give you optimum accuracy with irons and also with optics. I've been thinking about building one for years but have never quite got around to it.
