    LRB

They make great recievers for the M14 but do their M15 lowers live up to the rep they have, in other words are these lowers of good quality and what uppers will fit? Perhaps a space gun is in my future.

For AR-15 type lowers (assuming you are getting a quality lower that is in spec), the brand you buy really only matters if you're looking for a specific logo or other engraving. Or, if you're looking to match upper and lower brands.

Otherwise, a lower is a lower, is a lower. The upper is much more important to the accuracy of the rifle and money is much better spent there.

But doesn't the lower have to match the upper for fit purpose? So what is the quality upper match for the lower?

Sometimes lower and upper fit even from the same manufacturer can be sloppy. It does not effect accuracy.

The pic of the lower is a little deceiving; I always thought it was a tan/FDE color when looking at it. That pic is washed out or something. It's black......just in case you're bent on a tan/FDE lower.....
