Command Arms Countdown Mags or Lancer L5?

I like the countdown factor on the command arms, but haven't seen many people using them any insight?

Or Should I go with the Lancer L5s? That is what my LMT Came with, but I don't really care what I use so long as it goes bang.

Don't get me wrong I love magpul, but does everyone really have to have the same thing? :P

In my opinion, the Lancer L5 is the superior mag. I have a box of 7 Pmags that have split along the back spine from being dropped on hard floors loaded. This is the weak point with poly mags. I know you shouldn't drop your loaded mags, but it happens. A chance of it being rendered useless if dropped makes it something I'd avoid despite popularity. Lancer alone has addressed this with the hybrid steel/poly design. They also have the steel at the latch engagement point. They're available in translucent also. I have intentionally drop tested the Lancer loaded and can't get it to crack.

I would get the Lancers if you want something different. If your shooting in our wonderful state the Command Arms don't rely make since because it's always going to read red for 0-10 rounds.

I can't give you an opinion, since I've never used one of those, but thanks for posting them!. Now I can try out some other mags

Lancers it is! My LMT came with a smoked grey one, they're pretty nice. I had no idea Pmag had that issue. Definitely staying away now.

My favorite mags used to be Pmags, but now I prefer the Lancer L5AWM mags since they're just as reliable and also have metal feed lips.

I've made the switch from Magpul to Lancer as well...

Nothing is wrong with my Magpul, but me being a engineer, Lancer is a much better design!
