New AR Build - Sun Devil, Rock River Arms, etc

    Sun Devil Lower
    Rock River Arms Upper
Leupold Mark AR 3-9 Mildot Scope
UTG Tactical OP Bipod (On there for now but may replace with a Harris later on)
    Butler Creek Scope Covers

Right now I'm not sure about how I like the foregrip and bipod so we'll see what I do with that, any comments or suggestions I'd like to hear them!

**Edit** I should mention I took off the front sight already and am taking off the vertical grip, I need a new scope mount though

Looks confused. Fold up front sight with no rear sight. Bipod and vertical grip. Charging handle looks very close to your optic that isn't in an AR specific one piece mount (which would help clear your CH and raise it up so you could mount a folding rear sight).

Oh and your camera is really grainy at high ISO.

Hahaha whoops, I took the folding front sight off after the photos! And I agree with the non-AR specific rings I hate them and haven't shot the gun with them because of it. I need a new mount, is there one you suggest? And I'm planning on taking off the vertical grip, looks and feels too cluttered with it.

The camera is a 5DMK2 with a Zeiss 85 F1.4, it's not normally grainy but the lighting was supper ****ty and I just quickly bumped up the exposure and shadows in photoshop. I'll do a better shoot of it once I get it all sorted.

All of the 1 piece mounts should work better. My long time favorite were the Larue mounts but I recently got a Bobro in a package deal and I like it a lot.

Looks like the photo was shot at 1.4 or 1.8. Where did your ISO end up?

Actually was F3.2 and the ISO was only 2500, I shoot at 3200 and usually get decent results but need to order an MK3 soon. The MK2 is starting to show it's age performance wise, I'm a photographer/videographer for work even though you can't tell by these photos hahaha.

Go with a American Defense Mout for that scope. Cheaper then Larue and Bobro and just as locking system. Yeah "IF" you want then get some BUIS for the rifle ans maybe get a free float rail. If you change anything get a scope mount. Dont look to bad past that really. How you liking that Hogue grip? Whats the twist rate on that barrel?
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

It's a 1:8 206 Stainless Car barrel and I forgot I had to put the front sight back on because that's what is holding on the hand guard/rail. I actually kind of want a different rail, the plastic RRA one feels kinda flimsy but it is light.

Cool, now you can rotate your front lens cover so that it folds down and out of your line of sight.

Yea I'm going back and forth on the bi-pod I think I may leave it on for now till I sight in the scope then take it off and go back to the grip. Now I just need to find ammo for a decent price, has anyone used the once fired ammo from ammo to go?
