If I have pre-ban USGI Mags do I have to convert to 10 rounds

If, I has grandfathered 30 rnd pre-ban (before 2000) USGI mags. Do I have to convert these to 10 round USGI mags?. Can I buy parts to re-build them? Can, I use them at the range or posses them legally even thou they are 30 rounds.

Please help, I've searched the net and haven't found anything on this...

Also, I wanted to buy a HK P7M13 and the mags are 13 rounds, are these legal to have and use?

    Thanks in Advance

Any 30 round magazines legally in your possession at the time of the ban may remain, unaltered, in your possession. You can purchase parts to repair a broken or worn out legally owned standard capacity magazine.

You can use them in a RAW, but cannot, IIRC, use them in a centerfire rifle that has a bullet button or other mecnahism requiring a tool to change magazines to render it legal. These must be used with 10 round magazines that are permanently altered.

You cannot legally but magazines in excess of 10 rounds except as reapir kits to repair or replace legally owned magazines.

Shoot the HK with the 13 rounders you bought when the writing was on the wall, if they wear out, you can repair or replace them.

No mag restriction on centerfire semi auto rifles and pistols without a maglock and banned features.
