So I'm about to build a featureless AR15 by using a hammerhead grip and a fixed stock. So my question is if I do go ahead with this build, will I have to registure this rifle as an assault weapon in 2015 per the new Ca law? Or would it be like any other non-assault weapon since it's featureless?

you can not register a AW. After 2015 all rifles will be registered when you buy them, just as handguns are now registered.
Your featureless AR15 is a regular rifle. If it had features, it would be a Unregistered Assault Weapon because you are not allowed to register it. so its illegal...get it?Comment

The law is already in effect.
You are too late.
Sell it to me for $300 or I will have you arrested.....

What about a short list of muzzle devices even an idiot would not mistake for a 'flash suppressor'?Comment

Any device that does not redirect flash from the shooter's field of vision is GTG. Basically, a device with a 'flat muzzle/exit wall' (for a lack of better term) with no prongs and an exit hole diameter only slightly larger than that of the bullet.Comment
