my bigtime regret in my gun collecting experience was not buying a dozen of these norinco mak90's, its an AW registered piece.



i bought it for $199.99 back in the early 90's and the chinese drum mag was only $24.99. i have since learned from this mistake and have loaded up on other not as lucritive pieces but they've been fun none the less. i did ok on magazines though with around 10 30 round ak and and 4 40 rounders. in the AR dept ive got a dozen 30's and 10 20's.

Nope, not really.
Heck I rarely shoot my RAWs as it is. Shoot more .22 than anything else.
Oh sure it'd be nice to have a few more, but at the time (for instance) I just couldn't see the point in having more than one AK. Wish I'd kept that Hungarian SA85, man that thing was beautiful.

Well, since I was about 12 years old when the gun bans started, I really can't feel bad about a whole lot...

Besides, the guns I really want are still (for the most part) legal...

...but I will say that what is going on now is pathetic. Guns are being taken out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, and (in that case) the upper hand is given to criminals...

...which sucks.

I regretted not buying all the AW I could back in 99, I regretted not getting a .50 when that came into effect. But those things are TRIVIAL.

What I really regret is canceling the 20 cases of SA .308 I placed with AIM for $125 a case. I regret not buying Radway Green when it was $100 per 1k. I regret not buying Gold, Platinum, Oil futures, Corn futures and stock in Apple before Jobs went back to work for them.

I regret being so cheap back in '99. I didn't know enough about guns to buy just recievers. I couldnt get myself to spend a few hundred dollars on toys. I thought you had to buy whole guns. I did get some assorted mags, though. I never had the cash or freetime to play until now and I wish I could go back and get some TOYS!
