    Unidentified 1919A4 part?

I have just recently received my 1919a4 and began learning to field strip the firearm. After I installed my spade grips and reassembled, I noticed a washer in the area I was working in, but not quite sure if it belongs to the 1919A4. Everything seems to work fine, passes the function test. I'm just a bit nervous as I don't have much knowledge in this platform and its parts. Does this washer belong to the 1919A4 or am I just stressing over nothing. Well I would like to thank you in advance for any replies.

I dunno WTF it is but I'm guessing it goes down on your spade grips where the pin slides across and under your trigger? Maybe near the cotter pin or something? I dunno...
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I guess the lack of replies suggest I'm worrying over nothing. Just wasn't sure if it was something important that came loose when I was using the rubber mallet to get on/off the back plate. Guess I'll keep looking to see if it fits anywhere.

Without that part, your gun will go full auto!

Just kidding. Really, I haven't taken mine apart before so, I have no idea what it is.

I checked the illustrations in "Browning Machine Gun Shop Manual", by Frank Iannamico.

I am unable to find any parts that look like what you show in the picture. I paid special attention to the illustrations relating to the back plate / grip assembly.

All of which is to say, it beats me as to what it might be.

Thanks for the effort though. I appreciate it.

Does it look like it broke off of a larger part?

Looking at it again, it does seem to have chipped off another part. DAMN! I feel dumb now. Time to look for what i screwed up.

Alright, I believe I started this thread over nothing. The washer doesn't match any of the finish on the internal parts and I think it's from something else I was working with. After I have continued to fiddle with the 1919a4, it won't charge now. Pulling back the charging handle, releasing it, activating the trigger, with no sound of dry fire. I have a lot to learn before I'll be able to take it out.
