so as per tradition i am planing on buying my self a nice b day present. i was looking in to building an AR. kinda looking for just a basic plug and play type deal with as little part sourcing as i can find. i have a line on a striped lower and will go get on Thursday but for the rest of the gun i was looking in to a build kit like this one http://www.midwayusa.com/product/763...vc=subv1819768 or http://www.midwayusa.com/product/116..._vc=cross_sell would this be the route to go im not looking for any thing amazing but i don't want total crap either any ideas opinions or other imput? and is this a cal legal kit?

I personally prefer lightweight for standard practical shooting or regular plinking.

Medium is better for longer strings of fire, like blasting or bumpfiring.

Both have midlength gas systems, which for 16" barrels is in my personal opinion, perfect.
