    Goodbye SB374 Hello <Your favorite here>

Now that SB374 is dead, I am wondering what people are planning on buying. Myself, I am looking at the M1A however, I am sure that the dealers are going to have some blowouts this year as the rush will not materialize. I figure I earned it with all of the brain cells I microwaved with my cellphone calling reps and the Gov.

    Cheers

I'm looking forward to starting an AR before the year is out, hopefully scoring a Beretta Cx4 next year (was really sad about this before seeing 374 vetoed, I've wanted one for a while but they're rare), and at some point and M1A of some sort.

      I'm buying a semi-auto elephant gun.

I'm not talking about a gun for shooting elephants, I want a gun that actually shoots elephants out of a giant barrel.

I will probably diversify my lower receiver collection for different types instead of more of AR15. I really don't want to register with the state, although I know they can just go to my FFL if they get my serial #. I know AR10 have two different types, and AK receivers are also dependent on which country the design is from. Are there more firearms that are commonly built from the lower receiver up?

Still have a stripped lower but will keep buying them as long as I have funds. Also thinking I'll ad to my already large supply of rebuild kits since that horsesh law passed.

Since 374 got vetoed, my funds for stripped receivers opened up for use elsewhere... just DROS'd a S&W Shield this afternoon. Next up is provably a Fulton M14 receiver and a customized build.

I have one of those elephant guns and man are they a b***h to feed. Started reloading awhile back, now my lawn and garden are gone, and one of them steped on my foot. Not even going to mention the smell.

Mega Arms MATEN Key-mod upper and lower, Rainier select 18" barrel, UBR stock, AAC or Surefire muzzle brake, Geissele DMR trigger, Gunfighter pistol grip, Atlas bipod, and US Optics 1.8-10 scope in a set of Badger rings on a Larue riser. Already got the scope, grip and bipod, email notifications set up for when the receivers come back into stock, hopefully that happens right around the time I get home from Afghanistan before the year is out.

And I'm going to buy a Geissele reaction rod so I can mount the barrel myself (going to try and borrow a torque wrench from a friend)
