    We Win!

We really have the right to keep and bear arms.
    Now what's next?

    Put 'em to use!

The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government.

It's not that big a "win." Even Scalia (wrote the majority decision) says that the decisions is not to overturn ALL gun control.

It's going to take a major test case to un-do some of our wacky CA gun laws (I'm NOT volunteering myself).

Its a step in the right direction though and sends a message to the nasty socialist GFW's in Sacramento that we have had enough

Don't get too comfortable. The fact that 4 justices voted against the decision shows us the kind of dangerous territory we're in now, which will only get worse if the dems take over. If Obama wins, we're all in for a whole lot of hurt. We need to get these traitors off the bench and out of office once and for all if we ever want to be free again.

This isn't going to change anything in CA though, will it?

I don't see anything changing here for years, if they do change at all. From what I can decipher when reading, and by what I am reading others post, it is so vaguely written that it may not change anything for us out here.

“The NRA will file lawsuits in San Francisco, Chicago and several of its suburbs challenging handgun restrictions there based on Thursday's outcome.”

Good good good... This sounds like progress.

AND one of the most important things in the majority decision that we CAN use in our state is the court was clear that being forced to have our guns at home "disassembled" or trigger locked is THE SAME AS PROHIBITING US from being able to protect ourselves. In LA they want to force laws on us where our guns have to be altered so they can ONLY be fired by their owners -- NOW we have something to attack that on...

No, felons and mental defectives should be institutionalized. That's the solution.

Here's a good rule of thumb: If you wouldn't trust them with guns, then don't let them out.
