    i doubt if doj will be going after each registration... however, since all of this data will be electronically submitted, it's easy enough to see the patterns and make an example of someone, especially when it's submitted under penalty of perjury...

    it's another convenient way of stripping someone's 2a rights....

        We won't know until you're arrested and made into a test case. I can see legal justification behind both camps.

        For example, in Canada, due to some legal precedence, it's now legal to have AR mags labeled for 5 rounds of .50 Beowulf, and top it up with 15 rounds of 5.56, but a mag that labeled for 5.56 and holds more than 5 rounds will get you arrested.

        Even if that .22lr marked lower is legal to be unregistered. As soon as you mount a centerfire semiautomatic upper on it, they can argue that you have manufactured (or more technically, converted) a unregistered AW.
