Saiga, best choice for "AK" variant if sb374 passes?

I'm debating buying a Cali neutered AK or a Saiga with a standard mag release . I'm leaning more towards the Saiga. If I have to register I want to be able to drop mags with my finger. The Ak mag locks look cumbersome . At least I'm case of lawlessness and shtf the AR can easily be " worked with" what do you guys think ? Or should I get both. I'm getting a SKS tomorrow so that covers 7.62. Redundancy is still good though The 5.45 round sounds interesting Vote guys !

if 374 passes you won't need a BB. you can have all the evil features you want. because it will be an assault weapon.

That being said , since you will have the SKS, I would buy the AK instead of the saiga.

Sorry i forgot to mention I was just using this link to show you guys what kind of AK i was looking at. I could get this AK at a local cali store for $530 with everything i need. Without conversion which i really dont care about. So with tax and DROS im looking at $600 or less.

However i was just using the link to ask if this AK was good.

The 5.45 ammo is pretty cheap, but I've been hearing lately, through other sources, that the President is planning some more Executive Orders to push gun control, and may move to stop importation of foreign ammo (like 5.45 & 7.62, etc). He already stopped letting American made guns overseas be imported back into the US. If that ends up being the case, AK's in 5.45 will be paper weights since no US company makes it, whereas several US companies make .223 & 7.62 in the CONTUS. Hornady has made limited amounts but I believe it was with foreign components and even then I think it runs about $25 per box of 20. Maybe I'm wrong.........has anybody else heard this??

Who knows what Obama will do next. The only thing you can do is plan for what ever he may do. The only guns he has prevented from coming back into the US was US manufactured and and loaned to foreign governments.
