OC FFL that will accept rebuild kits

I'm considering buying an AK from an out of state dealer and they can ship it with either 2 rebuild kits or 2 Tapco 10 rounders. I thought it would be cool to have the original mags so I'm looking for an FFL in Orange County that will accept rebuild kits.
I'm inexperienced when it comes to AK's and am also wondering if I should even be concerned with getting the rebuilds or just go with the Tapco's. Any advice is appreciated.

Can't tell you from first hand experience. However, Straightline Tactical in Anaheim, RifleGear in Fountain Valley, or OC Armory in Laguna are all well versed in California law. So depending on where in OC you are, I would try these places first.

Have the seller ship the kits to you directly.

^^^ why pay extra shipping? There are FFLs that will accept the legally disassembled mags with the rifle.

Thanks everyone! I'll call those places to check and also check and see if they can just ship the mags to me. Can't believe I didn't think of that myself!

I think as of a few weeks ago, OC Armory no longer will accept rebuilds. They can convert it to 10 rounders for $6 apiece or send it back while charging you for shipping.

A little south of OC but Parallax Tactical received a rifle for me last week that included the mag as a kit.
