Thanks for all the help guys. Issue resolved
Now the upper and lower fit perfectly with no wiggle.
Original post below:
So, I just bought a blem stripped upper from Palmetto State Armory. I have gotten nothing but great stuff from them. That being said, this stripped upper took 14 days to deliver (which seems a bit long) and I just attempted to slap it on to my 80% lower and it doesn't fit. The front pivot pin fits perfectly but the rear (I think it's called lug?) doesn't fit into the lower. Either the lower is out of spec and a touch too thick, or the upper rear lug is out of spec and a touch too thick. I can cram it in there and get it about half, then it just won't budge
. The lower is a TM 80% milled in San Diego at a well known shop. So, my question is, would it be alright if I took some sanding material or a sanding wheel on the dremmel or something and just hit the rear lug a bit to get it to fit?
