All,
I have one of those standard Stack-On type safes with room for 8 or 10 rifles if you stack them close together along each wall. The foam guides aren't very thick and you have to really lean out a scoped rifle to keep the optics away from the wall. I am wondering if the A2 front sight is going to make that tricky. I was thinking of drilling a hole, installing a peg, and hanging the AR muzzle down flat along the wall - anyone have a better solution for this type of safe? I see Stack-On now has a tactical weapon safe where two rifles with optics can be stored in one direction and the others along the wall, but I'm too cheap to give up an operable safe already installed.
Thanks in advance!
