80% receiver questions, HK, FAL, AK's

My cash is running down faster than my list of guns that I still want. I want to get 80% (for pistol builds) or 100% (for rifle builds) receivers for most any gun I can, but I have no idea what's good, what's worth it, and what will be too hard to build.

I really want a MP5 pistol, where can I find a high quality 80%? I've seen them on HKparts for $300 and another site for $100, why the price difference?

HK/PTR 91 any 80 or 100% out there worth getting?

FN FAL any 100% out there worth getting?

AK 47 80% that are good quality?

Most important question - Are there any people, or professional shops that can help me finish these types of 80% receivers?

I also welcome any suggestions for other types of receivers other than AR's (I'm all AR'd out for the moment).

    Thanks in advance,
    Keith

HKParts is overpriced for the most part. Search around and you can usually find cheaper prices from RobertRTG and other places that sell similar products.

To turn a HK flat into a receiver, you should contact Roccobro (via email). He's got the tooling and finishing for a complete HK build. He's located not far from you.

Lots of build parties for AKs, check the gun smithing section.
AK receivers are not like AR receivers, they are fairly country and model specific, so you need to know precisely what it is you want to build beforehand. Akbuilder.com has flats (80 percenters) for most AK patterns.

HK patterns can be done too. Not as many building them, but again check the gun smithing section. These can get pricey really fast as well as trickier to build and tune correctly.

Roccobro sounds like the person I want to talk to. How do I get his email?
Eta: never mind about the email, got it figured out.

Thank you all for your input. I searched the center fire semi auto section and completely skipped over the gunsmithing section. I will start searching there.

I hope you have obtained the necessary parts for what you want to build before attending any parties or asking someone to help you with your build. Wanting to build and having the parts needed for that build are two separate things.
