Thanks for the info but I'm trying to look for something closer. Fountain Valley is one in a half hours from Simi Valley.

        its your only choice
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Rifle gear is currently out of stock of the receiver I'm looking for. But you may be right in it being the closes location.

Riflegear will ship them to a local FFL near you if they had them.

Or you could have Nodak ship them to your FFL for around $100 a piece.

On the Nodak website it is $85 shipped.

I would like to find one at a local gun store so I can avoid all the associated fees with buying online. Has anybody bought a receiver online and if so what would all the fees come to? Out of state transfer fee, taxes,DROS etc.

You have to pay DROS either way. I think it still comes out cheaper if you buy from Nodak depending on how much your FFL charges. I know it does at mine. THe more you buy the better the break as well.

Are there any other hidden fees with buying online besides the out of state transfer fee. What does your FFL charge for out of state transfer.

Mine charges $35 for the first stripped lower and $10 for any additional ones from the same shipper. Plus you always have to pay state taxes and the DROS.

NODAK has a notice on their website that implies they only do business with other FFLs. It could be I'm just interpreting the notice wrong.
