It's legal.. it is one of the fabled "loophole"guns that had the dems of the time, clamoring for sb23... I sold mine a few months before the law went in effect. I found my old manual and receipt.. I remember that place had both the long and short barrel and they had wood crates full of surplus ak mags for $5.As long as you know its history and can articulate that to anyone who questions you, I would think you were pretty safe... I take the same risk of arrest just by taking my 80% ar pistols and ar's.. You have to know your laws and be able to convince whoever is looking at your gun that you are right. Thats life in this once free state.
