Accupoint 1-4 in a Larue LT-104.
30mm or 1" is the diameter of the scope tube at the smallest (middle section). This way you get 1x almost like a red dot and you can turn it up to 4x if you need. I have a 3-9 and wish I would have gotten a 1-4Homer Simpson gun safety: "This is the trigger, and THIS is the part you point at whatever you want to die..."

best scope mount for Trijicon Accupoint 3-9?
there's a one-piece AR mounts shootout here.
but if you're willing to spend the money, it's hard to go wrong with larue or ADM, as recommended above..Comment

I have two Accupoints. One is the 3x9 with red triangle. Love it! It's on a Ruger M-77 with standard Leupold ring mounts. Very solid. But it stays on the rifle.
My other is an older Accupoint 1.25-4. I use a Leupold mount for a picatinny rail, and put it on a .450 Bushmaster AR. Also love it!
I got mine from Midway, part #911547 or 291726. Leupold Mark 2 Integral Mounting System (IMS) 1-Piece Picatinny-Style Mount with Integral Rings AR-15 Flat-Top Matte Just over $100. Amazon is less.
You should double check your scope size. I initially ordered the wrong size and had to exchange it because I went off the website info. But mine was an older scope. Both my scopes are 1".
The 3-9 "SHOULD" be 1". The newer 1-4 "SHOULD" be 30mm. Take the time to double check to be sure.
I also have a nice older Leupold 3-9 scope in the Leupold quick release rings (QRW) on an older rifle and they are nice. BUT, from what I've seen the Larue are pretty hard to beat. Hope this helps. You will love the scope.NRA LIFE MemberComment

I sell a lot of American Defense Recon Scope Mounts that are perfect for this. They have throw lever type disconnect and put the scope further forward than rings could while still mounting to just the receiver and not the handguard, making sure the eye relief is correct.
I've got other similar mounts as well - such as one from Warne Mounts. It is not on my site but I think I have a Colt one as well that they issue on the M110 Sniper rifle. But I like the American Defense Ones the best because of the quick disconnect levers. Something goes wrong with the scope you don't need tools to remove it and run your iron sights.
A solution I also really like but do not sell because they don't offer their mounts to re-sellers (the offer us just their plastic products and sell their metal products directly to the public) are the LaRue Scope Mounts. They work exactly like the American Defense Mounts, except in how they cup the scope itself. So it is just a question of which floats your boat more. I think they still include a bottle of dry rub with every mount...it is tasty. But they are also more expensive. Gotta pay for the free dry rub and hat somehow.Last edited by tacticalcity; 09-17-2013, 1:30 PM.Comment
