SD-C vs SD-E; cheating myself?

Forgive an old theme, I'm sure...

Getting set to take advantage of 10% off G Triggers and snag a SD-C setup...

Am I cheating myself by not going SD-E(Enhanced?) This will be my first 2 stager and I'm not even sure I'm going to like it; just want the grittiness gone (& and something different)... This will be going on my Daniel Defense V5 that mostly used from a bench.

I don't want the SD-3g because it clearly states not recommended not for bench shooting; true?

I've tried my brothers SSA and simply enjoyed how smooth it was, but again, wanted the flat face...

The SD3G works great in a precision role once you adapt your trigger control. The benefit of the two stage is you're able to prep the trigger and partially retract it to the second stage, allowing for a much shorter travel until it breaks. If given the choice between the SDC and SDE for a precision build, I'd go with the SDE due to the lighter pull. If all three dynamic triggers are being considered, I'd take the 3G every time but that's my personal preference.

Note: The SD3G trigger has a very short, light pull and reset. We do not recommend it for duty use, bench rest, accuracy work or shooting small groups. It is designed for close course competition use where rapid target engagement with quick follow up shots are required.

For bench use it is very difficult to do better than Geiselle's High Speed ?National Match two-stage. The second stage adjusts down to +-4oz and has a very fast lock time for a Semi-auto.

Espensive but worth it.

Most of my shooting is off a bench or prone...

If you don't have the rifle pulled in tight against you, there's the risk of bump firing. I did it the first time I shot the demo trigger...that was embarrassing.

I have the SD-E... I like it a lot as a general purpose trigger, but I still feel like I'm missing out for bench work.

Should have went with a G. High Speed, AR Gold, or even a Timney I think would have been better for just bench work.

I went with the SD-E over the SD-C, the E felt better to me.
But you can't go wrong either way, great triggers!

I have the sdc on my v5 i do more comp with it n prefer it to the sd3g actually and i can get hits on 8in steel out to 400 apl day with my aimpoint off a bench if your looking to group im sure even better with a scope.
