SIG 516 Ambi mag release question

Don't you need to remove the ambi mag release in the SIG516 to be legal in Calif.? I don't live in Calif.(I live in PA) & was wondering if one or two people are willing to part with the ambi release.

Even if you were able to get hold of the Ambi mag release for a SIG516, will you be able to install it on your current lower? is your lower capable of accepting it? also if you are looking to buy one then go post in the WTB section in the Marketplace not HERE!
