    anything wrong with these parts? ok BCG?

    trying to build my first AR on a extremely tight budget. i have heard good things about palmetto. anything wrong with these parts? besides there blemished. is this a decent BCG. just going for your average AR plinker build on a budget. i plan on spending a little bit on a good barrel

    I'm not a huge fan of the butt stock but all the other parts look great.
    Also if I was trying to build stick to a budget I wouldn't piece together an upper. I'd just pick up a complete upper from PSA. They have great deals all the time. If you add up all the parts to piece one together I think you may find that it's cheaper to just get a complete one from PSA.

      ^Agree, everything but the junk stock. I guess it could get you by if your tight on cash.

        Check the steel the bolt is made from. Carpenter 158 is superior to 8620.

          yeah its carpenter 158. thats good to know. im loving psa pricing. i might go with a different buttstock or i might have to stick with that one. i just want to get it up and running for now. they are out of stock on most of their complete uppers and the price doesn't show on the out of stock stuff so i cant tell how much. i'll keep as eye on their inventory. if its cheaper to buy the complete upper i will probably go that route

            They put uppers on sale on the time for under $350.

              Agree with others. If youre just gonna build one you dont want to have to buy the tools needed to put together an upper.
