Does anyone actually use mag couplers?

Possibly looking into trying these for quick mag changes but it seems like it could be unnecessary weight. Couldn't mag changes from a pouch be just as fast?

Mall ninjas and airsofters love them. Real shooters just use duct tape.

They are really just a great way for the manufactures to make extra money from stupid idiots.

From a belt, probably not. From a vest, probably faster. The issue is what to do with the coupled mags when you use them up. Dump them on the ground, I guess...

        nope.

Might be cool with a non bullet button rifle. But I prefer to have the mag fall to the ground after depressing the bullet button. Seems like it would be tough to manipulate the tool and hold the mag/rifle bullet button tool all at the same time.

If I use a standard mag release, like on a featureless build, this could shave some time on a mag change.

Mags stacked in this fashion won't fit in any of my pouches. So I would only have the first mag change at hand on the rifle.

I can see a benefit in a HD scenario. You grab your gun and the only rounds you are carrying are on or in the gun.

LOL Duct Tape! I did use the duct tape when I ran my Mini 14 in 3 gun with a wood block as a spacer!
I do use coupled 30's and 20's when I have to shoot prone at a 3 gun match.
Very stable when shooting out to 400 yard. Use the 20's on a roof prop stage or a very low port.
I also use the Arrendondo base plates with them.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

So, what if you could fit them on a vest without them being an issue or getting in the way? Would anyone use them?

I tape mine to where all I do is flip them to reload. It eliminates any type of spacer.

OK, I forgot about using them as "bipods" for certain senerios.

My buddy bought some and after we went shooting with them he tried to sell them to me, so that should tell you something.
