More help with my saiga conversion

Been in contact with some guys on this site who have helped me compile my parts list and all I need for the conversion.... Thanks for that. Ill be replacing the fsb, gb and adding the new pieces to accommodate the ak stock and hand guard.
Now for the actual build question. I've watched several videos on the fsb and gb addition/replacement. I have to admit there are lots of ways people get it done.... But some seem like hacks and I don't want to do it that way.... Example beating the **** out of the fsb and gb to get em off after drilling the dimples, drilling the extra holes crooked for the pins etc. Can someone please recommend or link a video or instruction page they used to do their conversion?

    Thanks for the help

GB you'll have to use the press and Saiga's FSB you won't use and can't sell, so why not to use the molot or drimmel to take it off ,(make sure you not cutting the barrel ) if you have tools and basic skills how to use them, won't be a problem.
this is how some people doing it , use the common sense
OK, I have yet to see a single tutorial for this anywhere. And since a bunch of people have helped me out with my project I figure I would put a tutorial together for anyone else down the road. I have only the most basic of tools and am going to outline how this is done as such. It is possible wi...

Got all my stuff from the guy on ak files.... Very cool stuff. I had another post going but I guess calguns only keeps two pages. I am ready to purchase new furniture for my iz240 after its rebirth. I'm not sure if they make wood sets .... Any recommendations for places I can get both poly or wood depending on what I decide on?

I like the plum.... But the wood is also nice.... If its available. Any advice is great

        Thank you

Unless you absolutely have your heart set on replacing it, I'd recommend using a bolt on HG retainer and leaving the original gas block in place.

                  Why?
anything with bolt or screw on AK ,just wrong , no cleaning rod and bayonet option , if you are doing the conversion do it right
