Black & Tan: My Daniel Defense & Noveske Rifles

Hey guys. Just finished up building my new Noveske rifle and took a few snaps next to my DD carbine. Big shout out to Randall at AR15Barrels.com for pinning, welding and assembly of upper. Also thanks to Paul at OC Custom Coating for the beautiful Cerakote job.

Any suggestions for an optic on the Noveske? I'm strongly leaning towards an Aimpoint PRO.

Oh and if anyone can help me out finding some FDE Pmags, that would be awesome!!!

Have a Question..... How well does that Noveske Comp work for you? Really wanting one, But just not sure of how well it preforms with muzzle rise?

Nice! I dunno who has FDE pmags in stock but I'm diggin the black mag. Maybe it's just me but I think with the black mag it has the perfect balance between black and FDE.

Nice rifles, but unless FDE is white, and Ive been thinking it was FDE colored- I see no Ivory!

haha sunsetIE, it was my lame attempt at being clever, but yes it is FDE.

wicked one, i'm not sure if it's due to the design of the KX3 or simply the weight, but i have noticed recoil tends to go straight back into my shoulder with very little muzzle climb.

Rainier barrels are damn good, although I like Noveske barrels a little better.

Awesome set right there, I like the black mag with the FDE, really a nice balance with the KX3, your controls, and the butt padd on your stock

Do you have any issues toggling the paddles on the streamlight?

very nice, I was thinking of going FDE. How do you like the STR stock? Have you ever tried the VLTOR Imod?

briguy64 - i'm actually able to manipulate the controls for the streamlight fairly easily. i am however looking at replacing the streamlight with a surefire mini scout.

polarbear - thanks for the heads up!

phaseshift - i love the STR. i use it on all my rifles including my SGL-21. i haven't tried the imod, but i hear good things about it. i personally don't like the way it looks.
