    For those who purchased this...

For those who purchased the above dedicated 22LR upper from gunbroker, what do you think?

I bought one and at this point I have to say that I like it. The bolt is a pain since there is nothing holding it together and inside the upper when you attach the upper to the lower.

Reliability wise, out of about 350 rounds of cheep bulk Remmington I had a couple of FTE's and about 8 feeding jams where the round got wedged in to the top of the upper and I had to pry it out. Those seemed to subside the more I fired it so I'm thinking it's a break in issue. No stove pipes or double feeds. I had more problems breaking in my 10/22 and Mk II.

Accuracy was acceptable. I was at an indoor range shooting open sights. Between the bad lighting, shooting standing, and wearing bulky hearing protection and bulky eye protection I had a hard time with sight alignment/sight picture. The overall average was grouping was about the size of a half dollar, not counting the occasional strays. I don't think I could have done any better with my 10/22 under the same conditions.

It looks like it uses remington 597 mags. If so you just found your problems.
