    Lower inspection

I'll be getting my first OLL (probably CMMG) from a local shop in the next week. I assume i should inspect for cosmetic, cracks and any other obvious defects. Are there any areas that are more prone to problems that I should pay extra attention to?

    Thanks in advance,
    Pete

If it is possible ask the sails person if it would be ok to see if a mag will slide in and out of the mag well freely. Its not a big problem im just throwing it out there.

CMMG is quality stuff. Just a quick once-over is probably all you need to do. If they have many, ask to see a few and pick the best looking one.

Not to much to just look it over for any flaws but most factory flaws are only cosmetic...check the magwell and be sure it's beveled properly then caress it and give it a kiss and tell it you'll be back for it soon...
