On my 1st OLL build I went with a Prince 50. Still haven't got out to the range with it yet but I think I will have time this week. So the question is, if I use the allen to back off the screw so I can drop the mag to reload it am I still legal?

Answer is NOT LEGAL!!!!
You can not drop a mag with a Prince 50. I believe the reason is one you unscrew it, the mag release is no longer locked, making the use of a "tool" not needed.I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck". -
NO, NO, NO... With the P50, you can only top load by breaking open the upper from the lower. If you want to drop mags, go with the bullet button.sigpicComment

If you want to drop your mag legally, then you need to drop the p50 and get a bullet button mag lock instead.
